In a broad sense, it refers to paper that can prevent grease from absorbing penetration. In a narrow sense, it refers to a type of paper that is made by bleaching, semi-bleaching, or unbleached chemical wood pulp and processed by high-level beating. Also included are paper grades that are resistant to grease penetration and absorption, produced using either pulp added or surface coated oil repellents.
Product quantification can be as low as 20g/m2, depending on user requirements. Has a certain degree of strength and high smoothness, but the air permeability is low. This kind of paper is subjected to a strong beating effect due to the fibers, and has many fiber binding points. The porosity of the paper sheet is very low and the transparency is high. Therefore, oil penetration and absorption can be prevented. After high-viscous beating with chemical pulp, it is made by papermaking on a Fourdrinier paper machine, or coated with an oil-resistant coating (casein type, varnish type, hot melt or resin type, silicate type).
It is widely used in the packaging of food and other oil-containing items.
